Final Project Proposals

Well the first round of blog posts from the class has revealed some excellent Final Project ideas. Some making new use of familiar technologies like YouTube and Flickr, and others exploring sites that are new to me like Learnist. It's a great start to the projects.

IDT 516 Blogging is Back

Well, I didn't teach IDT 516 last year, so it's been a while since I have posted here. With the long gap, the course has been dramatically revised. Student blogs will be going live soon. Blogger has also changed quite a bit since Google bought them up. Let's see how the learning curve goes.

IDT 516 Fall 2010 Blogs are set to go

Well, I have blog accounts for everyone, and shared them in a Netvibes tab. I am looking forward to the Final Project updates this Fall. I will post a few things here as well. Happy blogging!

Final Projects Taking Shape

As I look through your blogs, I can see that your Final Projects are starting to come together. With two weeks to go, most of us are in great shape. I look forward to seeing the end results.

Blogs are all set to go

OK, everyone has created their blogs, and we are off and running on final projects. I have gone through all of your blogs and reviewed the projects you proposed in Quiz 4. Now I am looking forward to seeing the projects as they develop.

Well, it's that time once again for final projects in IDT 516. I look forward to following your progress and seeing what types of projects everyone is working on.

Projects Coming In!

Several people have already finished their Final Projects and posted comments to our last discussions (5 & 6). The semester is winding down. This is one of my favorite times as we begin to reflect on our experiences during the semester. It is fascinating to see what people liked and what challenges they had. The course content for IDT 516 changes pretty rapidly, and many of the changes are the result of your feedback to me. I can't wait to see the rest of your projects.
